📚 For Students

Students can log in with their school credentials and view their accumulated service hours in real-time.

Their hours are displayed clearly and securely, helping them track their progress toward service goals.

👩‍🏫 For Teachers

Teachers can log in, record school service hours for students, and access up-to-date records.

They can search by student name, view detailed breakdowns, and confirm if students have met their service hour requirements — all in a few clicks

🌍 For External Organisations

We compile a list with you of organisations your student’s serve at and contact them to make them aware of our platform and how to use it. They are each assigned a unique authentication key, verified and distributed through us. This ensures that only authorised organisations can log service hours on behalf of students. Using this key, they access the web app and submit hours through a simple form.

Current organisations on our platform: Breathe Ocean Conservation, Peace Cottages, Hola Baby Home, Nation Changers, Paw Prints, Heartland Organisation, Hillcrest Aids Centre, Mazarat Rescue, Kloof Conservancy, and Waterfall Projects. (More organisations can easily be added upon request.)

  1. Initial Consultation:
    We start by understanding your school’s specific needs. Together, we plan the upload of your students’/teacher’s information and create a detailed project timeline.
  2. Platform Setup: We customise the application to meet your school's requirements and securely set up the databases with your students’ and teachers’ information.
  3. Testing: Before launch, we thoroughly test the platform with your school’s data to ensure everything functions correctly.
  4. Training: We provide a short, 5-minute training video for both students and teachers, which can be shown during assemblies, staff meetings, or shared online.
  5. Launch: We coordinate a smooth platform rollout and provide ongoing technical support. If any unexpected issues arise, the StudentServiceDiary (SSD) team will be on hand to resolve them promptly.
